Military Kit & Contents
Contents Insurance: our cover includes
- Accidental damage and loss or damage by theft, fire, flood, storm, burst pipes, lightning and vandalism
- Contents in the open up to £500
- Loss or damage during a move by professional removers or military transport to a new home
- Minimum sum assured is £9,000
The excess is the amount of the claim you must pay. Premium discounts are available if you increase your standard policy excess. The standard excess if £50 (£100 for laptops).
Kit Insurance
- Service uniforms, kit and equipment owned by you or on permanent issue
- Uniforms kit and equipment issued on temporary issue to you for your own use
- Loss of service identity card
Optional cover march out: Covers you for charges that you may be liable for due to accidental loss or damage or contents, fixtures or fittings in any MOD arranged accommodation up to £10,000 (cover becomes effective 90 days from the start date).
